We blend our creamy base together with our very best ingredients to create our delicious range of flavours.
Time for the science - things are getting heated:
Pasteurisation: The base mix is pasteurised until it reaches 72°C, then held for 10 minutes to ensure it’s safe for everyone to enjoy.
Homogenisation: This process reduces the creamy fat globules in the mix ensuring our ice cream has a smooth, melt-in-your-mouth texture.
Turning the temperature down: Now it's time for us to add our range of exciting inclusions to each flavour e.g. rich Belgian chocolate chips, sticky marshmallow sauce, crumbled cookies and so many more!
Timing is everything: Then our ice cream is blast frozen for 24 hours. This maturation time is when the Mullin's magic happens, maximising the luxurious taste and texture we pride ourselves on.
After 24 hours, our award-winning Mullin’s ice cream is packed with care and distributed to retailers and Mullin’s parlours across the Island of Ireland.
